What is your role at Advanced Infrastructure?

As Customer Success Manager at Advanced Infrastructure, I lead the customer success strategy and technical support for our LAEP+ platform. I design user journeys, onboard new customers, and develop ongoing training programmes to ensure users stay engaged and get the most out of our platform’s functionalities. I enjoy building strong relationships with our customers to understand their unique needs and provide tailored guidance, whether it be how to navigate our tools or advising on the most beneficial feature for their needs. Through proactive support and training, I ensure that LAEP+ delivers real value to our customers, empowering them to deliver impactful decarbonisation projects.

What led you to join the team at Advanced Infrastructure?

I’ve always been passionate about the environment, and my degree in marine biology furthered my understanding of the urgency of the net-zero transition. When I discovered Advanced Infrastructure, I was excited by the company’s mission to drive decarbonisation through innovative technology.

My prior experience in the tech industry sparked my interest in web-based software, making this role an ideal blend of my passions: working with cutting-edge technology while contributing to a mission that aligns with my values. I’ve really enjoyed my time at AI, supporting the success and development of LAEP+ and helping to upskill our user base for smarter energy planning. Being part of a company that aligns with my values and empowers real change in the energy sector has been incredibly rewarding.

Which project have you enjoyed working on the most at Advanced Infrastructure?

Carrying out the large-scale onboarding we did in collaboration with SSEN was quite fulfilling, as it was a chance to get a massive number of local authorities trained up on our LENZA platform. I worked really closely with the Net Zero Engagement team at SSEN to design engagement strategies and regular deep-dive training sessions which we’ve been running for over a year now, and it’s been rewarding to see how much work has been completed on LENZA over time. Specifically the recent successful funding application submitted by Wiltshire Council with the help of our tools was great to be a part of. Most recently I’ve enjoyed engaging with local authorities as part of the Mission Net Zero project with Arup and WECA, as we’ve gotten to do some valuable engagement with them, and the local authorities are very keen to hit the ground running with LAEP+.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?

Getting to speak to so many different people spanning a range of local authority teams, consultants, and DNO customer success teams. I enjoy running live sessions with our end-users because it allows me to better understand our user base to inform product development, and form close relationships with our customers. Seeing the results our customers are able to achieve drives me each day, as I know that our platform is directly contributing to the net-zero transition.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love to be outside, whether that be hiking, exploring a new neighbourhood, going for a run, or meeting dogs at local parks. I also enjoy going to spin classes regularly, and spending time in the kitchen inventing new recipes to share with friends and family.
