What is your role at Advanced Infrastructure?‍

I’m a Project Manager at Advanced Infrastructure, and my job is all about helping our team work efficiently and successfully. I manage sprints, work closely with the development team, and make sure projects stay on track. I also focus on improving processes, such as setting up better workflows and communication in order for the team to deliver great results.

I also to create a smooth and organised environment where everyone can do their best work. It’s really satisfying to see how these efforts help us build tools such as the LAEP+ platform, and make a difference for our clients and the energy sector.

What led you to join the team at Advanced Infrastructure?

Before joining Advanced Infrastructure, I was a project manager in software development, leading mobile and web projects across different fields. When I learned about Advanced Infrastructure, I was excited by the chance to dive into the energy sector and work on projects that make a real difference. My experience managing diverse teams and technologies helped me adapt quickly, and it felt great to start contributing right away. I joined Advanced Infrastructure because I wanted to bring my skills to a team focused on sustainable change, and I’m thrilled to be part of that.

Which project have you enjoyed working on the most at Advanced Infrastructure?

While I’ve enjoyed all my projects, I’m especially excited about the PRIDE Project with our partners, National Grid & West Midlands Combined Authority. PRIDE enables local authorities, energy networks and regional stakeholders to collaborate effectively by combining governance structures with a cutting-edge digital ecosystem based on Advanced Infrastructure’s LAEP+ platform.

As part of the project, I've supported process set up, planned sprints, and organised the team to ensure we run efficiently. What makes it exciting is the opportunity to shape the direction from day one, rather than stepping into something already established. Even though we’re just getting started, I can already see the potential impact, and that motivates me to make sure everything runs smoothly from the very beginning.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?

The most rewarding part of being a Project Manager is seeing a team bring an idea to life together. I love organising the moving pieces, tackling challenges along the way, and making sure everyone feels connected and supported. It’s fulfilling to take a project from concept to completion and know I helped make it happen.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Out of work, I’ve recently got into sailing, which has been the most inspiring and fun thing that’s happened to me lately—nothing beats the wind in your face and the open water! When I’m not out on the boat, I like to pretend I’m a master chef (though the kitchen may disagree) and binge-watch the entire series, which I'd like to think counts as a hobby.
