Advanced Infrastructure are confirmed exhibitors for 2023 where we will be demonstrating our local area energy planning tool LAEP+ and talking about how it's being used by SSEN, Dundee City Council and Oxfordshire Couty Council as part of Project RESOP (Regional Energy System Optimisation and Planning) and Project LEO (Local Energy Oxfordshire) to visualise whole systems data and plan energy projects.

Amongst the speakers Advanced Infrastructure's Head of Data, Dr Noah Miller will be taking to the stage alongside Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks' (SSEN) Innovation Programme Delivery Manager, Tim Sammon to deliver the session 'Digital Local Area Energy Plans'

Advanced Infrastructure and Cambridgeshire County Council will be discussing approaches to decarbonisation planning, including Local Area Energy Plans. The session will cover local learnings from the County as well as recent innovations in digital tooling to develop LAEPs.

This year 'The Korea Institute for Technology Infrastructure Advancement' has teamed up with Innovate UK to deliver the session “Orchestrating Smart City Data Ecosystems”, at the WSCE on the 3rd day of the three-day event. This dissemination event shares the learnings from a 3-month feasibility study sponsored by BEIS exploring the use cases, costs, benefits and technical prototype of a smart meter energy data repository. The Smart Metering System is a rich source of energy related data but this data is effectively distributed across the millions of meters that generate and store it. Technical and regulatory barriers prevent access and utilisation data effectively and efficiently.

The UK's Open Technology Conference delivered by the not for profit organisation OpenUK is hosting its first annual State of Open Con conference on open source software, open hardware and open data.
