Product Overview

This dataset rates the suitability of pavements for the installation of on-street EV charge points. Utilising an array of input datasets, including street layout and pavement width, pavements are categorised by their likely suitability for an on-street charge point taking into account recommendations from The IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation. The dataset highlights pavements wider than 2.15m and not situated in front of residential property frontages.

Pavement Suitability Assessment for On-Street Charge Points Data is just one dataset in our GIS tool belt that can be combined with our cloud based net zero planning platform LAEP+ (Local Area Energy Planner Plus), or as a stand alone dataset available as an API or exportable file format.

When used in the LAEP+ platform, data can be visualised at UK and regional level to shortlist potential sites for EV charge points with the use of interactive geospatial maps.
